Skrillex lookalike and 80s film star Corey Feldman is taking his strange headline-making band on the road across North America. Corey’s Angels is instantly tough to describe, but I’d say: an amalgamation of the stage presence of Empire of the Sun, the attitude of Michael Jackson in 1982 and Korn’s Path of Totality album. It’s the kind of meteoric water cooler topic you’d discover after binge watching Youtube videos late in the night.

Last fall, Feldman introduced the project on the Today Show in a bizarre and berserk promotion of his album Angelic 2 the Core, a double-LP dedicated to his late friends Michael Jackson and Corey Haim. Touring the US and Canada this summer, the trek titled Corey’s Heavenly Tour marks the biggest venture of Feldman’s career in music. Backed by his troupe of bombshell bandmates who sport angel wings and celestial swimwear, Corey’s wife Courtney Anne, who also happens to be a DJ, performs as DJAC in the show. Forget everything you know about The Goonies and Stand By Me.

On Wednesday July 5th, Feldman and his band of angels hit The Rockpile in Toronto’s west-end. show details can be found in the below tour promo and you can grab tickets HERE. It’s oddly captivating to say the least.
