“This year’s lineup boasts the most diverse musical acts we’ve ever had,” says Talal Farsi, Music Director, INK Entertainment. Today, the yearly Downsview Park Veld Music Festival got gears turning for 2017’s edition alongside a major lineup announcement and pre-sale initiation. Canada’s leading hospitality and entertainment company is pivoting from the “big room” “EDM” sounds of yesteryear with a revised talent roster and representation of all things trendy instead.

It’s a sign of the times, and Veld’s evolution from just a commercial electronic music-focused show is very clear in each and every corner of today’s lineup graphic. INK is highlighting more internationally acclaimed talent than ever before thanks to the implementation of a 3rd stage, greater devotion to hip hop and a gigantic focus on underground house music. “Our ability to offer music lovers greater choice and variety at the festival, combined with our dedication to creating the best-in-class guest experience through top notch production, design and sightlines, will make VELD 2017 the best yet.” The main stage will see chart-topping artists like Future, Major Lazer and Tiësto, as well as Madeon, Tchami, and Robin Schulz. The second stage will feature talent like Tory Lanez, Migos, 24HRS and Borgore, while the third stage will host underground artists like Sasha & John Digweed and Mark Knight, as well as Nicole Moudaber. Veld Music Festival returns, Agusts 5th & 6th, 2017.
