As many Toronto-area techno fans had already predicted, Electric Island’s Canada Day celebration is on the move. Previously, the Victoria Day edition of the show moved inland to Woodbine Park in Toronto’s east end due to flooding that altered over 200 permits. This time around, organizers have secured yet another property.
“Our team has been working hard to secure a new venue due to the sustained flooding on the Toronto Islands, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday at 51 Commissioners Street in the Portlands!”
View the full statement below. We’ll see you at 51 Commissioners Street on July 1st alongside Richie Hawtin, Recondite and more.
