The kings of the live stream are swinging by Toronto for two events starting this month. Boiler Room, a brand internationally renown for broadcasted DJ sets in intimate and unorthodox settings, are operating a two-part show series in the great white north alongside Budweiser. The first of which, taking place on August 17th, brings together Toronto’s underground house and techno community for a select showcase.

This year Boiler Room and Budweiser are traveling around the globe to discover the best underground scenes and talent. So far it’s taken viewers to Belgium, India, Chile, USA, Brazil, South Korea and Vietnam featuring artists like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Actress, The Egyptian Lover, Matthew Dear, Roger Sanchez, Nines, Jazzanova, and Derrick May. At this market’s first show date, Ciel will kick things off, with a return by Basic Soul Unit, followed by hometown hero Nick Holder’s Boiler Room debut. Apron Records don Steven Julien aka Funkineven headlines.
