Digital Dreams Music Festival, Electric Island, WEMF and All Day I Dream – the organizers of these monstrous concert outfits are teaming up to bring a brand new music festival to one of the world’s sunniest destinations. From April 4th-8th, 2018, the marvelous Caribbean island of Barbados will become home to Vujaday alongside internationally renowned DJs from the house and techno world. Defined as “an entirely new experience” and “like nothing you have ever seen or felt before,” this week-long event will take place in a unique location each of its five days, much like a pumped-up version of the equatorial BPM Festival or SXM Festival.

While offering an uncommon adventure for both tourists and locals, Vujaday is aiming to provide those new to the island a much wider experience than they would normally get on a typical holiday. Five events will run from Wednesday through Sunday during the festival, with the largest event on Saturday. Events will take place at Farley Hill, Holetown, South Beach Zone, and the East and West coasts of the island. Not that more shade needs to be cast on the disastrous Fyre Festival fiasco from earlier this year, but 2018’s Vujaday outing will demonstrate what happens when seasoned event organizers take on the Carribean island.

A sure fire hit for Canucks especially, Vujaday is helmed by industry veterans that have been involved in the creation and operation of Toronto based events like Digital Dreams Music Festival, Electric Island, World Electronic Music Festival and All Day I Dream, along with Further Future and Robot Heart Halloween in the USA and SXM Festival in the Caribbean. These founders have also owned/operated world renowned clubs in Toronto such as Footwork Nightclub, Coda, The Hoxton and The Velvet Underground. While party people around the globe are firmly fixated on high-concept boutique events, Vujaday arrives at the most opportune time.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring a major electronic festival to Barbados,” says Ryan Kruger, Vujaday co-founder and president of The RKET Group. “The island is brimming with a vivid culture and amazing sights to take in, and we wanted to make sure that the festival format allowed for guests to experience more than just a single location while enjoying music from around the world.” Head HERE to keep up with Vujaday’s incoming lineup announcements and more.
