The cube is heading north! Back in March, globally-renowned DJ and producer deadmau5 ventured across America for his sold-out Lots of Shows in a Row tour. The select run of dates ignited the return of his mighty cube stage show marked by a pop-up shop and several special guests. Deadmau5 accomplished a major milestone on that run, merging robotics with music once more to pull together a breathtaking light show.

To ring in the 150th birthday of Confederation, deadmau5 gave two gifts to Canada – one being a home country performance in Halifax, the other being the declaration of his touring comeback to the great white north. The 9-city show continuation of Lots of Shows in a Row notably includes 7 Canadian tour stops; Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Windsor, and Winnipeg. Alma, a small town 175 km north of Quebec City, is listed on the program as well, although its 30,000 population indicates that can’t possibly be a market the mau5 would visit – a coincidence.

Few details are provided other than a list of cities, but it’s better than nothing for now. Deadmau5 celebrates mau5trap’s 10th anniversary at Rebel nightclub in Toronto on July 21st. Judging by the previous block of shows, some Canadian cities could be on the recieving end of 2 or even 3 concerts on back to back nights.
