British singer/songwriter Jorja Smith graced Queen Street West with her soulful voice tonight, but also surprised fans by performing a duet with Toronto’s hip hop kingpin. That’s right, Drake just dropped by the 500-ish capacity Velvet Underground! Rumoured to be dating as far back as April this year, the pair blessed the concert hall with a rare rendition of their collaboration ‘Get it Together.’

The Velvet has been on somewhat of a roll recently. Over the past week or so, the Queen Street venue hosted two editions of the world famous Boiler Room series, a Monstercat label showcase and a sold-out No Neon after party graced by several special guests. Drizzy’s appearance is the cherry on top of 7 days of concert madness. Tonight was Jorja Smith’s very first Toronto concert.

Check out a couple highlights of Drake’s impromptu performance at The Velvet below.
